Season 12 - 2021 - Season of Magic
In 2021, Lawrence Opera Theatre’s Season of Magic marked a return to in-person performances while still navigating the challenges of the post-COVID world. Though restrictions like masking and social distancing remained in place, we embraced the opportunity to reconnect with audiences and bring the transformative power of opera back to the stage. The season featured enchanting performances that captured the wonder and escape of magical stories, offering a sense of hope and renewal after a difficult year. Despite ongoing precautions, the magic of live opera shone brightly, reminding us all of the resilience of the arts and the joy of shared experiences.
